I just love this time of year. I love baking, I love giving, I love egg nog and Christmas spices. I love it all! These caramel egg nog cookies are going to be a great addition to the plate of goodies you’ll be delivering to friends and neighbors this year.
We love Eggnog in our house! Check out my egg nog cinnamon bread, a reader favorite and my easy eggnog ice cream is to die for!
This eggnog french toast casserole (which is basically bread pudding) is the perfect Christmas breakfast and if you’re doing holiday baking don’t forget about my eggnog cheesecake cupcakes.
I love Eggnog so much I created a list of over 70 eggnog recipes that use eggnog as an ingredient or are recipes for how to make eggnog from scratch.
You all know I’m a loyal fan and ambassador for AE Dairy and these cookies are made with the brand new Egg Nog Lowfat Yogurt. I mean I really just want to sit and eat the yogurt with granola for breakfast every morning this season, which you should all do, however it is a great ingredient to bake with as well.
You’re gonna love these cookies for holiday baking because they are EASY. This batter is sticky and wet and there is no rolling involved, just drop out the dough onto your Silpat & perforated baking sheet after mixing up the dough. I’m a huge fan of my Silpat, click HERE to find out why.
And even though this is a “frosted” cookie it’s the easiest thing you’ll make all baking season. You can make it more complicated my making homemade caramel sauce, which is amazing, however when I need to cut some time I use store bought caramel sauce and it’s great! Just scoop a spoonful of caramel sauce onto the cookie and spread it around with the back of your spoon. Top with sprinkles and you’re done.
I’m such a big fan of AE Dairy and the many delicious dairy products they provide. If you’re in the midwest I’m sure you’re as much of a fan as I am! Be sure to follow them on social media to get all the latest scoop. Facebook/ Pinterest/ YouTube
Over the last few years I’ve come to adore Egg Nog! I’ve made Egg Nog Cheesecake with Ginger Snap Crust and Egg Nog Cinnamon Bread and every recipe is delicious thanks to the amazing Egg Nog products that AE Dairy makes! Christmas in your mouth, I promise!
