There is nothing quite like fresh basil, mozzarella & fresh tomatoes. I mean its kind of like the taste of summer, right? These cute little caprese bites are perfect for serving at a party or get together and adding washi tape to the toothpicks makes it even more adorable. You might remember my fruit kabobs with the washi toothpicks HERE. You could add a drizzle of high quality balsamic vinegar for more flavor. Picnic or party your friends & family will love these little grab and go snacks.
All I did was cut the cherry tomato in half and made a sandwich with it putting a basil leaf and mozzarella pearl in between the two halves of the tomato. Easy peesey friends!
