What more does a mom or grandma want than photos? I can pretty much guarantee that my mom will love any gift that includes photos of her grandchildren. I love photo calendars but sometimes they can seem overwhelming so I designed this super simple photo calendar. All you need to do is print out the 12 months, cut out the rectangle for the picture and then, taping from the back, attach the photo. Put all the pages in a frame and your done! You only need 12 photos and you’re good to go. I hope you enjoy this mother’s day photo calendar!
Like I said the steps to complete this do it yourself calendar are so easy! Print out each month from the zip file, which you can find HERE. I printed mine out on card stock so it was nice and heavy and easy to cut with an exacto knife. You’ll need the print outs, scissors or a paper slicer, an exacto, a ruler, scotch tape and an 8×10″ frame.
The first step is to cut off the sides on the black line. Remember your paper is 8.5″x11″ and the frame is 8×10″ so we have to trim it off so it will fit in the frame.
Next step is to cut out the rectangle window for the photos. The best way to do it is by using an exacto knife and ruler. Try to cut on the outside of the gray line so when its done the gray line is gone.
To finish it place your photo in the window from the back of the paper. Tape the sides down so it is secure. Pop it in a frame and you’re done!
