My brother’s wedding was held at Cedars of Lebanon State Park last weekend. I helped them create the perfect rustic wedding with lots of DIY details. I’m so happy to share with you all the little details of the outdoor wedding ceremony including the custom programs and palette guestbook that we created using the

I’ve partnered with Cricut to bring you lots of fantastic ideas for a DIY rustic wedding ceremony. This post contains affiliate links which means I make a small commission if you purchase items I recommend.
The location was the perfect setting, a state park just outside of Nashville that has a beautiful lodge with stonework set the stage. The ceremony was held in the front of the lodge and the bride and groom stood under an arbor that her father made! We draped the arbor in coculus garland.
I made her designed and made her dress with a chantilly lace and a nude silk underlay. I loved the way it turned out!
I created the programs using my awesome Cricut Explore. I printed the bottom part out on an awesome Canon Pixma Printer and then put the already printed program into the Cricut Explore. The Cricut then cut the top edge into a silhouette of trees and drew their names in a metallic copper marker.
After the Cricut was finished I mounted them with glue onto the colored card stock. I did 160 programs, and it took a while but was totally worth it for the result! It cost me almost nothing and looks so custom and gorgeous! We added so many little details throughout the wedding using the
Cricut Explore!
One of my favorite projects for Andrew & Taylor’s rustic wedding was this wood guestbook. My husband cut down 1″x4″ pieces of nice wood to 24″, we used 7 pieces, and then attached them together with two pieces of wood on the back that were going the opposite direction. We just nailed them into the back pieces. After the wood was put together we then stained the entire piece in a nice dark walnut.
I used my Cricut Explore and cut out their names & wedding date in a fun graphic in white vinyl. I applied it using the transfer vinyl and bam a beautiful piece of art to hang in their home after the wedding. It served as the guest book, when guests arrived they signed around the vinyl with white paint pens.
I’m so in love with it and knowing they will hang it in their home. Who even gets out their guestbook to look at it?! This way they will be reminded every time they look at it of all the lovely friends and family who supported them on their wedding day! Check out more reception details
