One of the details for my brother’s wedding I just loved was the personalized favors we made. I couldn’t have made them without my awesome Cricut Explore! All the photos in this post were shot by Lindsay Campbell an amazing wedding photographer in Nashville Tennessee.

The long tables at the reception were draped with a coculus garland, and every few feet an arrangement of wood slices, wood candleholders, pillar candles, agate slices and geodes dressed the tables. The brides father made the wood candleholders and the slices!
At each seat a little muslin bag with the couple’s initials and wedding date printed on the outside waited for the guest. Inside was a un-cracked geode with a little card that read “You rock for coming! Take a hammer to this and see what’s inside. Love, Andrew & Taylor” GUYS. How fun is that?!
I created the custom bags using Cricut gold heat transfer vinyl. I cut them out using my Cricut Explore and then iron-ed them onto the bags. I’m not going to lie it took a few people several hours to make 160 of them, but I mean how worth it, right?!
I love how the agate slices looked against the raw wood and the simple greenery. Such a perfect tablescape for Taylor & Andrew’s rustic outdoor wedding.
I could not have created all the details for this wedding without my Cricut Explore machine. I made the programs, guest book sign, little signs for all around the reception, a beautiful palette photo display and these favors! All the little details made it special for the bride and groom as well as giving the guests a more personal feel for the couple’s style.
