How fun is Halloween? I kind of love that its this fun holiday that you literally don’t have to buy any presents for. Candy in a bowl, kids in fun costumes and lots of delicious treats- totally my kind of celebration. Coming up with fun little treats has become a little bit of a hobby, some of my favorites are zombie pudding cups, candy frankensteins, and mummy cookies. Well lets add these halloween spider brownies to the list! When I attended the yearly sales convention for Demarle at Home the imagine mold was in our new product gift bag and I love it. Just looking at the mold you might only think “snowman”, but there are seriously so many different things you can make with it! The best thing is that whatever you make in it comes out perfectly every time, look how beautiful and shiny my brownies are!
All I did for this cute guy was make a box brownie mix, bake it in the imagine mold for 45 minutes, let it cool and then unmold it on my serving plate. After that I stuck 8 twizzler pieces into the sides for legs, pressed 2 eyeball candies down on the top. I decided to make it a black widow spider and add the red hourglass on the back with red candy melts. It turned out so cute and was SO easy!
Take the cake or brownies out of the molds is always so exciting, if you’ve baked at all and are anything like me taking a cake out of a pan induces some level of anxiety because you know its just not going to come out perfect, ever. Well after I switched to using Demarle at home’s products I’ve never had a fail again and everything does come out perfect, every single time. Like I said, a little bit like magic.
